Smoke glass or mirror glass for your outdoor sauna?

Mirror glass reflects its surroundings mainly in daylight. It does not guarantee privacy: when it is brighter inside than outside, the interior may be visible.

What do you see during the day?

Smoke glass has a dark tint and lets the warm interior become part of the view. Mirror glass reflects the garden and sky in the facade. Both let you look outside from the sauna. The final appearance changes with lighting and surroundings.

Look at the site in the evening too.

Interior lighting can reverse the balance between inside and outside. Check sightlines from the house, terrace and neighbouring properties. The direction of the glass facade and planting can matter as much as the type of glass.

Compare the finishes visually.

Switch between smoke and mirror glass for your chosen size in the configurator. The 3D view and photos are illustrative: real reflections and tint can differ. Discuss your site and preferred appearance with Welsa before choosing.

Frequently asked questions

Is smoke glass included as standard?

Yes. Smoke glass is standard on all four Cube models. Mirror glass has a model-specific supplement.

Does mirror glass always keep me unseen?

No. Privacy depends on lighting. With a lit interior and little light outside, someone outside may be able to see inside.

Does mirror glass change the dimensions?

The stated exterior and bench dimensions remain the same. You are choosing a different glass finish.

Do glass and door position have to be chosen together?

They are separate choices in the configurator. Start with the view and access route, then compare glass finishes and the left- or right-hand door.
