Welsa supports architects in the Netherlands with selecting and installing a design outdoor sauna. The Cube comes in four fixed sizes, with panoramic glazing and a wooden interior. We advise on integration and organise installation under project-specific partnership terms.
Discuss your projectFrom design to a practical plan
Include the sauna early in the design. Compare external dimensions with available space, sightlines from the house and garden, and access to the entrance. Allow extra room for the door opening, maintenance and installation. The external dimensions alone do not cover these requirements.
Materials, glazing and orientation
The Cube combines dark wood with a warm interior and panoramic glazing. Smoke glass keeps the interior visible; mirror glass can reflect the surroundings. Consider privacy from the house, neighbouring properties and public areas. Reflection depends on light levels: mirror glass does not prevent views inside when the interior is brighter.
Coordination with the client and contractor
Welsa advises on model selection, the site and installation. We agree who manages client contact and how the sauna fits other work. We can organise and separately quote crane work, foundations and electricity. A fee or margin is agreed for each partnership.
What helps us review your design?
- A site drawing or sketch showing the proposed location and external dimensions.
- Desired sightlines, privacy and door orientation.
- An indication of access, foundations, electricity and the project schedule.
Four models as a starting point
Compare external dimensions and bench length. The Cube 300 has the sauna space of the 200 with a separate shower zone. Confirm the specification and suitability for your intended use in the project proposal.

Includes a HUUM heater, Wi-Fi control, transport and installation on the Dutch mainland. Crane work, foundations, electricity and any water services are quoted separately. The 170 bench length is indicative.

Does Welsa offer bespoke sizes for architects?
The Welsa Cube comes in four fixed sizes with specification choices. Different building dimensions or technical modifications are not a standard offer. Discuss project-specific requirements before finalising the design.
Can I use the floor plans in my design?
The model pages show external dimensions and schematic plans with benches, heater and door. These are not technical construction or foundation drawings. Discuss the technical information needed for your project directly with Welsa.
Can Welsa advise my client directly?
Yes. We agree in advance how product advice, quotations and client contact work, and your role as architect. Installation is coordinated with the contractors involved.
