A design outdoor sauna as part of the garden.
Welsa offers garden designers and landscapers in the Netherlands an outdoor sauna to include in a garden plan. We advise on size, glazing and placement. Our team handles installation and can also organise crane work, foundations and electricity.
Discuss your projectIncluding the sauna in the garden plan
Consider the proportions of the sauna, terrace and planting. A spot at the edge of the garden creates a different experience from one close to the house. Discuss the view from the benches, the route from the house and privacy with the client. Allow access for maintenance too.
Assessing access before landscaping
The proposed location must be practical to install. Have access and potential crane positions assessed before paving and planting are finalised. Overview photos, an access sketch and information about obstacles help with a site review. Welsa works with you to assess what is needed.
Coordinated delivery within your garden project
Offer the sauna as part of your garden project. Welsa provides product advice and handles installation. We agree who carries out groundwork, electrical work and any water connections. Fees or margins and client contact are agreed for each partnership.
Include these points in your garden design
- Walking routes, terrace space, door side and privacy.
- Access, gates, obstacles and potential crane positions.
- Foundations, electricity routes and any water or drainage services.

Practical questions
Can I do the preparation as the landscaper?
Yes, responsibilities can be agreed around your team. Have foundation and connection requirements confirmed for the chosen model before starting. Welsa can also organise these works.
Does mirror glass provide privacy in the garden?
Mirror glass may reflect the surroundings during the day, depending on light levels. It does not guarantee privacy. Consider siting, planting and sightlines as part of the design.
